OUR MISSION
to help young adults find and follow jesus christ
CHC’s Young Adult Ministry provides caring and engaging opportunities for Young Adults (ages 18-29) to Connect, Grow, and Serve. Our groups are designed to help Young Adults grow in their faith and connect with one another in an authentic and highly relational way. We have monthly events and regular retreats, providing frequent opportunities to connect with each other and grow in our faith. Our groups also serve within our church and community in a variety of ways.

Mohican State Park for our Spring Retreat.
This weekend is designed to be a time of relaxation, enjoying and exploring the beauty of God’s creation, powerful times of worship, engaging activity options, and good times with great friends.
Theme: Rhythms of Rest
In a world that never slows down, God invites us to a better rhythm—a rhythm of rest. Join us for a weekend retreat designed to help you unplug, unwind, and reconnect with what matters most. Through teaching, worship, and community, we’ll explore spiritual disciplines that help us be still and draw closer to God.

Details:
- May 16, (arrive by 8pm) through May 18, 4:00pm (returning around 5:30pm)
- We will be staying in tents/hammocks
- The cost for the weekend is $75 (need based scholarships are available)
- Campground is primitive, with latrine toilets and potable water access
- Lunches, dinners, times of worship, and many group activities will be at the group camping
- Group transportation is available – meet @ CHC @ 6:00pm on Friday
Activities:
- There will be a variety of group activities and free time options.
- Various hikes throughout the Mohican region
- Swimming
- Possibly boating
- Field games (like Cornhole, Ladder ball, Fricket, Kan Jam, etc.)
The Gathering – Mondays @ 7:00pm
The Gathering is a group specifically designed for Young Adults (ages 18-29). We enjoy weekly gatherings where we have great times of fellowship and study a variety of life-stage relevant topics, as well as books of the Bible. We also have regular group outings and love to serve our community together. This is a great place to get connected with other young adults. We meet on Mondays at 7:00pm, either in the Youth Center or the Pavilion, depending on the weather. For more information contact Pastor Dan Adams.
